Course Description B.TECH IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

The B.Tech in Civil Engineering is an undergraduate specialized and flexible engineering program, offered under the Integrated Program for Working Professionals (IPWP) for empowering working professionals to take their formal academic qualification without having to pause their careers.

Sections stand structured in modular, work-compatible format, enabling professionals hailing from civil infrastructure, construction, real estate, and urban development sectors to raise the academic bar while learning mostly from live and industry-aligned practicing knowledge. This is supplemented by the academic-theoretical part-an-on-hands-on through real-time projects, hybrid practicals, and site assignments.

In accordance with national credit framework (NCrF), the program gives provision for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Prior work experience, certification, and skill training can now be converted into credits, thus saving the time and effort needed to earn a qualification in the process.

Course Highlights

Why Choose B.Tech in Civil Engineering under IPWP?

The B.Tech in Civil Engineering - Integrated Program for Working Professionals (IPWP) prepares students for the future with a work-integrated degree specifically designed for working professionals in the construction and infrastructure, surveying, and urban development sectors. The program enables an individual to achieve a recognized engineering degree without resigning from the job, fast-tracking one's career journey while fulfilling all academic contributions.

The model is flexible and hybrid in design, and it means that coursework is available not only in civil engineering but also on-site learning for the time while its learners continue with their full-time jobs, giving the skills required in core civil engineering areas.

Work-Synced, Industry-Relevant Curriculum
The curriculum includes:

Structural Engineering
Surveying and Geomatics
Construction Materials and technology
Hydraulics and Environmental Engineering
Transportation Engineering
Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Estimation, Planning and Project Management
Each module is tuned to current industry trends, regulations, and the evolving demands of urban and rural infrastructure development.

Effective Learning Schedule for the Busy Professional
By keeping online classes, weekend labs, and hybrid site-based practicals, the program assures complete zero regret on work-life balance. This modular format is meant for the professionals working with public works, private contractors, real estate developers, or infrastructure consultancy firms.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and National Credit Framework (NCrF)
Do you have prior working experience, an ITI degree, or a diploma in Civil Engineering or affiliated studies? Adjust your path to a B.Tech degree via RPL, which affirms the skills you are already using on the job while offering academic credit.

On-Site Learning and Industry Projects
It encourages putting concepts into actual practice in your work environment—drawing plans, overseeing concrete works, or designing drainage layouts. Some assignments and capstone projects can be done within your existing site or organization with the supervision of academic and industry mentors.

Accelerated Career Advancement and Future Prospects Because of it, graduates achieve qualifications for the following:

Government engineering services and PSUs

Senior site engineer, project coordinator, and quality head roles

Planning, estimation, and contract management positions

Urban infrastructure and smart city projects

Higher studies, GATE, and executive technical positions

Even use the degree to self-start in construction consultancy, green building designing, or civil contracting.

Top-notch Faculty and Mentoring Learn from expert civil engineers, experienced architects, urban planners, and construction professionals. Personalized mentorship is tailored to ensure that your academic plan aligns with your current role, site exposure, and career goals.

Who Should Enroll?
